Italy has often been an untouched land for extreme metal. Bands often have to work a lot harder to get their music to the masses. Subhuman are a perfect example of such a criminally undiscovered gem.

Suited and booted with a slick armoury of groovy thrash-laden riffs and a drummer as tight as any of the top death metal boys, ‘Profondo Rozzo’ is as startlingly well executed as it is fist pumping-ly catchy.

Every solo, every drum fill and every riff is in its rightful place, all held together with the fierce vocal capabilities of Fabrizio ‘Zula’ Ferzola, who goes from a searing bark to guttural snarling in seconds.

There is no need to state the distinguishable tracks in ‘Profondo Rozzo’, they are as solid as the one proceeding it.

This isn’t original; however, if there was a blueprint of how to make the perfect thrashed up death metal album you needn’t look elsewhere. Everything you want is right here!
