There isn’t a whole lot of information regarding this Polish band, even the official website doesn’t have much information other than this is the band’s second album and consists of two members, Wieslaw on guitars, bass and keyboards and Rafal in charge of vocals and drums.

The overall style of the album would have to be described as melodic black metal mainly due to the use of keyboards throughout each track.

The keyboards add a really nice extra dimension to songs such as ‘The Return of Wolf's Brothers’, which has a very impressive sounding organ effect as well as some choral harmonics which creates an ethereal mood.

Much of the album doesn’t sound too far removed from ‘The Nightside Eclipse’ by Emperor, especially regarding the production but with a simpler song structure. There are also influences of early Gehenna and Hecate Enthroned creeping through.

There is nothing wrong with ‘The Order of Vril’ but there isn’t much in the way of innovation in the songs on offer and nothing comes across as something that hasn’t been produced before by other bands over the years.
